Data Scope is only available to Admins.
The Data Scope tool lets you restrict which companies are included in all queries across the console. Instead of loading hundreds of companies on every page, you can scope down to just the ones you care about.

When to use it

  • During development — loading a smaller set of companies is faster and reduces API cost.
  • Focused reviews — if you only want to see a handful of specific clients (e.g., your CSM portfolio), filter to just those companies.

How to open it

Click Data Scope in the bottom of the sidebar (below your user info). This opens the Data Scope panel.

Modes

Full (default)

All companies are loaded in every query. This is the default mode and what most users will use in production.

Filtered

Only the companies you explicitly select are included in queries. When this mode is active:
  • An amber warning banner appears at the top of every affected page (SLA Monitor, Companies, Assignments, etc.) indicating that you’re viewing a filtered subset.
  • Any data aggregations (SLA summary counts, assignment counts) only reflect the selected companies.

Setting up a filtered scope

  1. Open the Data Scope panel from the sidebar.
  2. Switch to Filtered mode.
  3. Search for and select the companies you want to include.
  4. Close the panel — changes take effect immediately across all pages.

Removing the filter

Open the Data Scope panel and switch back to Full mode. The amber banners will disappear and all queries will return to loading the complete company portfolio.
When Data Scope is filtered, summary statistics on the SLA Monitor and other pages will only reflect the selected companies. If you’re doing a full portfolio review, make sure to switch back to Full mode first.
